Barbara Jean Kanzler went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. She was the oldest daughter of Hugh and Ruby Durham. She was born in Greenleaf, CA, on February 22, 1926. She graduated from Fresno Technical High School in 1943.

Barbara was very active at First Baptist Church. She spent several years working in the children's programs at BSF, First Baptist Church, and Awana. She worked at Tiny Tot Nursery School from 1965 to 1974.

Barbara Jean Kanzler went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. She was the oldest daughter of Hugh and Ruby Durham. She was born in Greenleaf, CA, on February 22, 1926. She graduated from Fresno Technical High School in 1943.

Barbara was very active at First Baptist Church. She spent several years working in the children's programs at BSF, First Baptist Church, and Awana. She worked at Tiny Tot Nursery School from 1965 to 1974.

Barbara married Homer Hill in 1943. He was killed in World War II a few months later. Barbara married Karl Kanzler in 1946. They celebrated 50 years together before his death in 1997.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband; and her siblings, Ray Durham, and Ruby Fairburn and husband Earl; sisters-in-law; and brothers-in-law, Pauline Wenell and husband Elmer, Glenn Kanzler and wife Shirley, Wayne Kanzler, Randy Pittman, and Ed Far- row.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Vivian Oliver and husband Bill of Sacramento, CA; her sister-in-law, Eva Far- row of Clovis, CA; daughters, Karen Johnson and husband Ray of Fresno, CA, and Janine Berger and husband Bob of Sacramento, CA; her four grandchildren, Stacey Heinrichs and husband Rick of Fresno, CA, Kelly Johnson of Clovis, CA, Brian Berger and wife Jennifer of Sacramento, CA, and Jennifer Lane and husband John of East Lansing, MI; and her seven great-grand- children were the light of her life, Karley Heinrichs, Sydney Heinrichs, Brandon Berger, Nathan Berger, Katherine Berger, Zachary Lane, and Andrew Lane.

The family would like to thank Twilight Haven for the care of Barbara for the past four years.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church in Fresno, on Friday, May 26, 2017, at 1:00 p.m.

A private Burial was held at Belmont Memorial Park.
